Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the North Tech Symposium 2026 on May 4, 2026 at Prayagraj, themed “Raksha Triveni Sangam — Where Technology, Industry & Soldiering Converge”. The three-day event (May 4–6, 2026) was jointly organised by the Indian Army’s Northern Command and Central Command, along with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), bringing together over 284 companies — including MSMEs, startups, and major defence manufacturers — to showcase indigenous defence technologies.
