The Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana completed twelve years with 59.09 crore accounts and deposits up nearly thirteen times. The Comptroller and Auditor General launched a certification with IIT Madras for auditing digital public infrastructure and artificial intelligence, an admission that the audit object itself has changed. Industrial production grew 6.7 per cent in July with mining in contraction, India presented its snow leopard science in Moscow, and the country marked the 163rd birth anniversary of Mahatma Ayyankali. A note on the judiciary this week. There is no Supreme Court item in this edition, and that is a finding rather than an omission. The Supreme Court declared August 27 a holiday at the Advocates-on-Record Association’s request, making August 22 a working day in lieu, and August 26 was a holiday for Milad-un-Nabi.
