Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on 6 September inspected community kitchens for flood victims in Vaishali and Bhagalpur and directed continuous monitoring of the vulnerable stretches.

The river system around Patna. The Gandak at Dumariaghat and Hajipur, the Kosi at Baltara and Kursela, the Burhi Gandak at Khagaria, the Punpun at Sripalpur, the Bagmati at Benibad and the Ghaghra at Darauli were all flowing above their danger marks, along with the Ganga at Hathidah, Bhagalpur, Kahalgaon, Buxar and Munger.

Reading the numbers.
