Why in News: Bihar’s General Administration Department issued a notification on 23 August 2026 constituting a five-member Examination Reform Expert Committee.

What happened: The committee is to be headed by a retired Supreme Court judge or a serving or retired High Court judge. Its mandate covers question-paper leaks, impersonation, cheating and mass copying, and it must recommend the use of AI, cyber security, biometric verification, data analytics and CCTV surveillance, along with independent audit systems.
