Why in News: On 27 July 2026, at the Biharsharif Dairy Project complex in Nalanda district, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary laid foundation stones for new dairy infrastructure and announced a target of 10 million litres, that is 1 crore litres, of daily milk production for Bihar, along with a plan to take the state cooperative brand Sudha into global markets.

Why in News: On 27 July 2026, Transport Department Secretary Raj Kumar confirmed that the department will begin integrating artificial intelligence cameras from August 2026 under the Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS).
