Overview
Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) is an autonomous body established by the Government of India, launched on October 31, 2023 (National Unity Day — birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel) by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It serves as a technology-driven “phygital” (physical + digital) platform to engage India’s youth in nation-building by connecting them with government programmes, volunteering opportunities, and skill development initiatives.
As of October 2025, MY Bharat has registered over 2 crore young people and 1.2 lakh organisations, generating 14.5 lakh volunteering opportunities. The platform connects 16,000+ youth clubs and 60,000+ institutional partners, including government bodies, NGOs, and corporate collaborators.

Budget Allocation
The Union Budget 2026-27 allocated over Rs 655 crore for Mera Yuva Bharat, representing nearly a 10-fold increase from the previous year’s allocation.
